Cooperation between authorities


TL;DR The Digital Operations Resilience Act from the EU focuses on cooperation between competent authorities and the Lead Overseer in order to exchange relevant information about digital third-party service providers. This information must be shared in a timely manner so that all parties can carry out their duties and help identify risks, approaches, and other measures.
  1. Competent authoritiesas defined in Article 46 shall cooperate closely among themselves and, where applicable, with the Lead Overseerthe European Supervisory Authority appointed in accordance with Article 31(1), point (b) of this Regulation.

  2. Competent authoritiesas defined in Article 46 and the Lead Overseerthe European Supervisory Authority appointed in accordance with Article 31(1), point (b) of this Regulation shall, in a timely manner, mutually exchange all relevant information concerning critical ICT third-party service providersan ICT third-party service provider designated as critical in accordance with Article 31 which is necessary for them to carry out their respective duties under this Regulation, in particular in relation to identified risks, approaches and measures taken as part of the Lead Overseer’s oversight tasks.
